Who is Peter Cotton?
Having worked within the Industry for over 55 years I have a wealth of experience to help you cut through the many problems you will encounter with your turf. Following formal training at the Berkshire College of Agriculture and an OND Hort. at Pershore College in Worcestershire, I worked for some of the leading horticultural and amenity manufacturers in the UK before setting up my own business Turfgear.
I have specialised in Amenity Horticulture during the last four decades building a rich store of knowledge from clients in this country and abroad. That knowledge can help you to achieve excellence with your bowling, golf or sports club's playing surface. I base my recommendations on a visual inspection and the results of soil samples from a leading independent laboratory. My usual operating area is Lancashire, South Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Merseyside but I will travel to other parts of the Country by special arrangement.
